Most name-brand media works well these days. If the quality is such that a well-known company is willing to put their name on it, chances are it will work just fine.
I am able to burn DVD+R DL (dual layer) discs. So, if you want to keep the number of DVDs down, feel free to send them to me.
I have dual mode DVD recorders, and all types of DVD media (DVD+/- R/RW) will work. However, please don't send anything slower than 4x.

While I have no problem with using generic "silver top" discs, they have to be ones that work. I've used many generics made by Princo with no problems at all. However, I do occasionally run into some really obscure stuff from time to time that is simply unusable.
